With all of those badly designed apps out there it seems impossible to find something that won’t stress you out. I came across daily yoga while looking for something that I could add to my fitness routines that would improve my flexibility and get my Zen going on. The app has a nice layout and comes complete with video demonstrations, a points system and yes more social networking (like we really need another one).
Getting started with Daily Yoga:
Upon opening the application, it will ask you to register via face book or email and as soon as you are done with that you will need to enter your level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). If you are a beginner, you are probably better off doing a few yoga classes with a certified instructor before you get your yoga on with this app because the last thing you need is to pull a muscle while attempting one of the poses. Once you set your level the app will ask you to choose two goals from a set of 6 such as improve flexibility, tone muscles or lose weight.
The workout sessions:
Once you get that done it will take you to your customized workout demonstrations complete with some chill background music. When you complete each workout the app tracks something called energies (couldn’t find any explanation anywhere what this is), calories and number of workouts. One thing that’s really annoying is the ads that pop up which is probably the case with most apps if you are using the free version.
The app gives you points for certain actions that you take like completing a yoga session and sharing a comment. These points can be redeemed towards membership which will cost you about 30,000 points for one-year access. So if you complete all of the actions you can probably earn about 100 points max a day. At that rate it would take about 300 days or close to a year to redeem your points for a one-year membership. I don’t know about you but there is no way I’m doing 3 yoga sessions a day and sharing my feelings and commenting here and there for a year to get a one-year access pass that costs about $24. Points system epic fail!
The verdict on Daily Yoga:
Overall the app is well designed and is not too stressful to use. Using the video demonstrations on your phone is not very practical which in all fairness is not the apps fault but it does point to few flaws with trying to use your phone for workout instructions. You are better off using a tab with a larger screen or mirroring your phone with your TV. I’m also not too sure about how accurate the calorie counter is because the app doesn’t really ask for measurements such as weight and height. The best thing about this app is the video demonstrations which are clear and not too difficult to follow just find a way to get this on a bigger screen and you are in business. If you are interested in getting into Yoga, then take a few classes to get the basics right then maybe use this app to save money.

The FX-Sport wireless headphones were a great solution to my music issues when going to the gym. When it comes to music workout accessories for that extra bit of motivation needed to get through a workout , I can safely say that I have tried it all.
Here are some of the things that I tried in the past before my lovely wife bought me the FX-Sport headphones for my birthday 2 years ago.
Ear phones with my mobile phone
This had to be the worst solution for my music needs in the gym. First I had to make sure that my phone was preloaded with all the music I wanted. Then I had to carry my phone around in the gym and use my sweaty fingers to change tracks when the music just wasn’t doing it for me. Not to mention that the ear phones kept falling out or getting loose especially while doing routines on the treadmill, laying down on the bench or just jumping around.
Headphones with my mobile phone
The falling earphone issue was just becoming to much of an annoyance for me so to solve that issue I opted for headphones instead. After lot and lots of research and a recommendation from a friend, I settled with the Bose Quiet Comfort 3. Although this solved the falling out ear phone issue previously experienced with most of my workout routines, there was still some slippage with workouts that involved laying on your back. At this point I was still lugging around my mobile phone and battery life was an issue for both my mobile phone and the Bose headphones.
Lets Bluetooth it
Ok so the phone had to go or at least stop following me from station to station in the gym. It was time to go wireless and see how this could improve my experience in the gym. I didn’t want to spend too
much money on Bluetooth headphones especially after all that money spent on the Bose Quiet Comfort 3. I decided to go for something cheaper just to give it a try in the gym and finally settled on the 66 Audio BTS+ Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Sports Headphones. Although these did solve the lugging phone around the gym issue, it introduced a whole new set of issues for me. Sound quality was one of them because I was used to the Bose headphones. Another issue was toggling through playlists which just wouldn’t work for me directly from the head set.
Say hello to the iPod shuffle with armband
Ok, so now I was getting somewhere. The phone was out of the picture and the annoying ear phones were gone. I have to say I was liking the wireless aspect of the Bluetooth speakers but the other issues it introduced was just not going to make my workout experience any better. This is where the iPod Shuffle came in. It was compact, had great battery life and gave me direct access to my music. So now here is where I stood, no more ear phones falling out, no more carrying my phone around and no more dead battery on my phone. The only issue I had at this point was the slippage with the headphones while doing workouts on my back and the dangling headphone wire.
So now I had to accept that this was the way to go until something better came along, and boy did something much better come along that solved all the issues that I mentioned above.
Introducing the FX-Sport wireless headphones
The designer of the FX Sport headphone must have been really annoyed with the problems I discussed above because these headphones seem to address each and every one of them. When I first got them 2 years ago I was not so sure about how well they would perform, but now there is no way I can go to the gym without them. Lets take a detailed look at these headphones and see if I can give you a good idea of what to expect if you ever decide to buy them. I will start with the the features that differentiates the product from other headphones and end with the full feature list with comments.
Once you take the headphones out of the package the best thing to do is install the software. The software will allow you to create folders to organize your music although you can do this from Windows explorer too. The software will also let you setup your own workout and configure the race against a virtual athlete feature.
On the left you can see the folders on your computer and on the right you have the folders on your headphone. You can transfer the music simply by dragging and dropping items from your computer to the headphones.
The personal trainer tab in the software allows you to setup your own workout. The trainer will actually talk to you during the workout and tell you what you need to do. You can create your own custom workouts or upload a workout from the hundreds of free workouts available in the workout store.
FX-Sport – Programmable personal trainer
In pace mode you can race against a virtual athlete. All you need to do is enter your name, the virtual athletes name, the distance and the completion time of the virtual athlete. The headphones will let you know how you are progressing in relation to the virtual athlete. This is an excellent tool to improve your running or swimming speed. Keep in mind that to use these headphones in the pool you will need to purchase the Sport Silicone Skin Case. I was not a big fan of it and only ended up using it once. Maybe if I kept experimenting with it in the pool then I would change my mind.

In this section I will cover each of the features and try my best to provide some feedback based on my experience with each.
8GB Premium Mp3 player built into wire-free sports headphones.
The headphones come with 8GB capacity and although some may think that this is not enough I managed to get all my songs on it and it only came up to 3 GB. With regards to fit, the headphones are very comfortable and tightness can be adjusted
Upload “Real Coach Training Apps”, directly to the VRX. Training workouts with the voice of a real world class trainer, coaching and instructing the user through their session.
You can purchase workouts with the real voice of the coach from the workout store. The workouts are really cheap and usually under 5 dollars. It also comes complete with video demonstrations so you can get a feel of the workout before hitting the gym.
You can also select from a wide variety of free workouts from the workout store
Custom make your own workouts
If you dont find the workout that you want in the store you can go ahead and make your own workout. Just type in the speech that you want and set the time to trigger the speech.
Scroll through multiple workouts. All held on the headphones
You can save multiple workouts on your headphone and scroll through directly from the headphones to get the the workout that you want.
Water Resistant/Sweatproof and Wire-free.
The headphones are water and sweat proof so there is no need to worry about the headphones malfunctioning from moisture.
Upgradeable to fully waterproof headphones using the FX-Sport Silicone Skin Case for swimming.
If you want to use them in the pool then this could be for you. I did not test this out too much so cant really say much about it.
Text to Speech Navigation through Playlists.
The headphones will read out the playlist and song names to you.
Individual Track Change and Volume Control.
Fast Forward and Rewind within an Individual Track.
Low battery “beep” indicator.
Bass and Treble Settings.
These are all standard features that come with any mp3 player.
“Race a Virtual Athlete” Functionality [Pace and Race Modes].
As covered earlier this feature is really awesome. You can track your progress against a virtual athlete while running or swimming.
5hrs battery life using all functionality.
The device has great battery life and on a full charge it can get you through a couple of workouts using all the features. It also charges quite fast.
Overall I gave these headphones a 5 star rating simply because of the rich features and the fact that I have been using them at least 4 times a week for the last two years and they are still running strong. If you have any questions about these headphones then please leave a comment and I will get back to you. You can also email me on firstname.lastname@example.org

Today I will be reviewing one of the programs that I used back in 2014 which actually changed my life. Its called the Adonis Golden Ratio and it has played a huge part in setting me in the right direction in terms of exercise, nutrition. I have also included a video tour of the Adonis Golden Ratio portal which you wont be able to see unless you buy the system.
Lets face it most of us fail at reaching our fitness goals so we really should be asking ourselves why that is. Could it be lack of motivation? could it be that we are unable to find the right program to follow? do we simply not have the time to dedicate towards it or are we suffering from information overload and just not sure how to properly match our diet with activity levels. Well if you cant dedicate at least 30 minutes 3 times a week to do the exercises, then this program is not for you. This is not one of those get slim quick or hacks that will melt off belly fat miraculously because those simply don’t exist and they never will. The Adonis golden index provides a structured system that you can follow which uses your current fitness level as a base.
So what is it?
Well in a nut shell Adonis Golden Ratio is a twelve week workout and nutrition program which is marketed as “The Perfect Formula” to get your body closer to the classic V-shaped physique giving you broad shoulders and a narrow waist. Like most other workout programs available, AGR claims to provide you with “breakthrough tricks” that will result in a “dramatic transformation”. The truth is that there are no shortcuts or miracle programs that will get you in shape. It takes dedication, discipline and hard work which is the basic formula to be successful in almost anything you do in life.
Check out the video below of John Barban the creator of AGR explain the Adonis golden ratio
Now don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t mean that AGR is a scam, it is anything but that. The creators make certain claims basically because it is what their audience want to hear and no product is complete without the marketing mambo jambo. I guess sometimes you do need to hear certain inspirational things to get you excited about starting a new program and the creators use this to their advantage.
I have to say though that given my overall rating and based on the results I achieved after following this programs for 12 weeks, the AGR system does deliver on its price tag and definitely offers value for money. I would recommend it to people who are looking to improve the way their body looks, improve overall strength and build a healthy sustainable eating habit. If you are looking to improve other athletic aspects like speed and agility then this program will not really help you improve too much in those areas.
AdonisGolden Ratio -A comprehensive detailed review
In this section I will give you a detailed account of what to expect from this program and hopefully this will help you decide if this program is for you.
Who is the program for
AGR is being marketed to everyone at every level; however, the workout plans may be intense for the complete newbie especially if you have never been in the gym before. Although you can build up momentum as you go I would recommend doing some basic exercises like push ups and sit ups for a few days just to loosen up your body before you begin the program.
How does it work
The program uses two online calculators where you will need to enter your information such as height, weight, shoulder circumference, waist and activity level. The first calculator will use your measurements to determine the most suitable workout program for your body type. The second calculator will determine the best nutritional targets based on your body type. You will need to use both to determine your primary goal of either fat loss, muscle gain, or fat loss with simultaneous muscle gain. Each of these three categories has a slightly different workout and nutrition plan. So if you are overweight, then you would probably have to work through the fat loss system for at least 12 weeks.
What you will get
After purchasing the AGR system you will get access to the following
Theory of Ideal Proportions (eBook by John Barban)
Access to the Community
Lets go through each of them separately
Theory of Ideal Proportions
This is an eBook written by the creator of AGR John Barban. In this eBook Barban talks about the prevalence of steroids in the fitness industry and how magazines are selling you on a physique that is unattainable without them. Some of his claims are exaggerated like any other product out there that utilize marketing tricks to get your attention, but basically he explains how he shifted his focus from gaining size to developing the perfect body proportions.
He goes on to explain that humans have been hardwired to look for particular physical traits in potential mates and that his program is developed to get you the body that females find most attractive. He also talks about the ancient Greek sculptors and how they depict the perfect male physique and that all of this was not an accident. He then goes on to explain how this knowledge which uses break through mathematical calculations to design the work out program has been integrated into his program.
Basically the target isto get you the ideal shoulder circumference to waist ratio.
If you skim through the eBook you will be able to see how he has arrived at the mathematical formula using something called the Fibonacci sequence. Each chapter is then followed by a success story complete with an interview.
As explained briefly earlier you will start the program by entering your body dimensions into the nutrition software which will then give you a list of daily and weekly targets. I found the software to be very useful because it also takes into account your shoulder measurement as opposed to the traditional BMI calculator.
In the beginning, I followed the calculator to the bone and even started counting calories using my fitness pal in addition to other apps. After using the system for a while I no longer needed the calorie counter as I had gained a lot of experience in terms of food portions and daily caloric requirements. If you decide to use this program then I would recommend doing the same at least in the beginning.
Once you move through the system you will gain a good understanding of how your body responds and you should be able to tweak it according to your specific body type and metabolism rate. Below are my measurements before I started the program and after. As you can see, I still have a few inches to go on my waist.
In this section of the online program you will use your current measurements to determine the most suitable workout program for your body type. Basically the results of the calculation will place you in one of three various categories with the primary goal being
Combined muscle gain and fat loss
Within each plan you will get a workout, nutrition, and supplementation guide. The main purpose of the nutrition program is to educate you on what healthy eating is all about. The specifics of what you will need to eat is in the meal plans.
Since I have been working out for sometime I found the software to be quite general, but it still can set you off in the right direction especially if you are a complete newbie.
One of the best things I found with the workout programs is that it was very easy to follow and the exercises are laid out for you on a day to day basis. They are definitely not easy to do especially for a newbie but the good thing is there are videos for all the exercises so you can refer back to them if you are unsure how to do them properly.
The workouts include various exercises laid out in pyramid sets, super sets, and circuit training and wont be easy especially in the beginning.
In addition to the workout program this is one of the things that I found to be very useful with the AGR system. The meal plans are a life saver as they provide you with the exact meals you will be eating for the length of the program. In total there are 9 different meal plans. Each meal plan is divided into 6 meals; Breakfast, Lunch and dinner along with 3 snacks between the meals and covers the duration of the whole program. That gives you 504 meal ideas for each plan which I found to be pretty awesome.
The meals are also quite easy to prepare complete with meal proportions and nutritional information. After using this for sometime you will get the hang of it and should be able to come up with your own meal ideas without needing to go back to the meal guide.
You will also get a weekly shopping list of the item needed for your meals. There is no guess work here which really make the system all the more valuable and the process much smoother.
The community aspect is another great feature that differentiates AGR from other fitness programs and is a great way to get in touch with like minded people. At the time of writing this review there were almost 12,000 threads and over 75,000 members. That’s quite an impressive number of people following the program that you can interact with if you have any questions or just want to share your progress. You can also share your goals with people in the community which could actually make you more accountable for your results.
A digital product is never complete without offering bonuses. AGR actually offers some decent bonuses. With your purchase of the AGR system you will get two
The Adonis Arms and Abs Assault: Apparently 94% of men don’t maximize their potential for these two body parts. The guide consists of a 4 week workout program that you can do twice a week to maximize your gains in these two areas
7 days out by Kyle Leon: is an eBook designed for people who have gone through the AGR system and looking to loose that last bit of stubborn fat. It is intended to give the training and nutritional guidelines for the last 7 days before a photo shoot.
If you are serious about getting fit or improving the way you look then this program is a great deal and you wont need anything else. It is easy to follow and you will learn many new things along the way. If you are willing to put in the work for 12 weeks and follow the program, then you will get great results. If not then this program is not for you. Your purchase is also covered by a 60 day money back guarantee. So if you decide before 60 days after you purchase the program that you don’t want it anymore, then you can get your money back. Since the product is sold through click bank rest assured that this process will be smooth.
